The new DIN 1076:2024 is a revolutionary revision – it fundamentally changes the requirements for structural inspections. For the first time, the standard officially permits the use of photogrammetry and underwater scans, rendering traditional manual inspection methods obsolete in many cases, and requiring fully digital workflows from start to finish.
