Geodetic / Surveying Engineer (m/f/d) for 3D Data Acquisition and Geodata Analysis

Your role with us

You will generate, process, and analyze high-precision 3D measurement data, specifically point clouds and meshes. You'll take charge of the validation and quality assurance of the survey data with a high standard of precision. Using your technical expertise, you will analyze and evaluate three-dimensional geospatial data. Working closely with the team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our measurement systems. You will systematically optimize existing data acquisition processes, particularly in the areas of laser scanning and photogrammetry. Additionally, you will actively contribute to research and development projects. If you are excited about future technologies, you'll also have the opportunity to work on projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision, or even develop your own approaches.

What you bring to the table

• A degree in Surveying, Geodesy, Geoinformatics, or a comparable field of study

• Solid knowledge in laser scanning, photogrammetry, and point cloud processing

• A structured, independent way of working and strong analytical thinking skills

• Team spirit, a passion for innovation, and a keen interest in modern technological developments

• Very good written and spoken German skills

Ideally, you also have experience in

• kinematic laser scanning

• using relevant software, e.g.:
  - Leica 3DR
  - Agisoft Metashape or Pix4D
  - Inertial Explorer (is a plus)
